About Us

We are a one form entry Primary School with Pre School accommodating children from 3 years old.

Situated in a rural area in the village of Crowmarsh Gifford which is adjacent to the small town of Wallingford.  Oxford is 13 miles north and Reading is 12 miles south of the school.  The catchment area includes Crowmarsh Gifford and North Stoke but the school also admits pupils from Wallingford and the surrounding area. We are part of the Wallingford Partnership of Schools with the majority of our pupils moving on to Wallingford Secondary School which has academy status.

Built in 1969, the school has good facilities and is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. There are two playgrounds and a large playing field.  The school kitchen provides fresh home – cooked lunches at a reasonable price.

The school is seen as an important part of the village community.  Links with St. Mary Magdalene’s Church are important and we contribute to some of the major church festivals throughout the year.  We are proud to have a strong PTA who are very active and raise significant amounts of money for the benefit of the children through a variety of social occasions for staff, parents and children.

We pride ourselves on educating the ‘whole child’ and developing the individual interests of children. We currently offer a wide-range of extra-curricular activities including; sports clubs, French tuition, musical tuition, a school choir and more.

We provide a wide range of educational visits as well as inviting visitors and parents into the school.  Our older key stage two children benefit from residential trips.
