🌟 A Day in the Life of Pre-School 🌟
Welcome to our Pre-School! Here's a peek into the fun, learning, and adventures our youngest learners enjoy every day.
🕗 8:45am – Welcome & Soft Start
Children arrive with big smiles, ready to explore!
Adults set up exciting activities across the room, and children are encouraged to make their own choices too. Whether it's building towers, painting masterpieces, or role-playing in the home corner there's something for everyone!

🧘♀️ 9:15am – Carpet Time
Once everyone has settled, we gather on the carpet for a short adult-led session.
We might sing songs, share a story, or explore a new idea together.

🎨 9:30am – Free Flow Fun
Children move freely around the indoor area, choosing from a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities.
From mark-making and maths games to imaginative play and construction every moment is a learning opportunity!
🍎 10:15am – Snack Time
We pause for a healthy snack and a drink.
It’s a great time to chat with friends and recharge for more play!

🌳 11:00am – Outdoor Adventures
Time to head outside!
We might cook up a storm in the mud kitchen, climb and balance on the climbing frame, or dig for treasure in the sandpit.
🌦️ We go out in all weathers – so wellies and waterproofs are a must!
🕦 11:45am – Home Time (for some) & New Friends Join
Some of our friends head home after a busy morning of learning and play.
At the same time, we welcome some new friends who join us for the afternoon session.

🍽️ 12:00pm – Lunchtime
Children staying for lunch enjoy a hot meal prepared by our kitchen team or tuck into their packed lunch from home.
It’s a social time where we practise independence and good manners.

🕧 12:15pm – Home Time (for more friends) & More Join Us
After lunch, some children head home.
We also welcome more friends who join us for the afternoon fun!

🧩 12:30pm – Afternoon Free Flow
We continue our learning through play with more indoor activities.
Children explore, create, and collaborate with their peers.
📚 1:30pm – Carpet Time & Story
We gather again for a short adult-led session.
This might include a story, a song, or a group discussion.
It’s a lovely way to reflect on our day and for us to share our learning from the morning with our friends that joined us at lunch.

🌞 2:30pm – Final Outdoor Play
We finish our day with more outdoor fun – climbing, running, and exploring!
It’s a great way to end the day with fresh air and movement.

🕒 3:00pm-3:15pm – Story and Home Time
We share a final story and some songs before it is time to say goodbye!
We’ve had a wonderful day full of learning, laughter, and friendship.
