At Crowmarsh Gifford CE Primary School, our wraparound care provision offers a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children before and after the school day. Our provision is designed to support families while providing children with opportunities to socialise, relax and enjoy a range of activities in a nurturing setting.

The club reflects our school values of Care, Grow, Persevere and Shine, helping children feel happy, safe and supported throughout their time with us.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club provides a calm, happy and purposeful start to the school day, helping children feel connected and ready to learn.

Opening Times
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 8:30am

Breakfast served until 8:15am

Activities

Children can choose from a range of quiet, self-directed activities, preparing them for the day of learning ahead, including:

• Reading
• Drawing
• Lego
• Puzzles
• Mindfulness colouring
• Board games

Breakfast Menu

A healthy breakfast is available each morning until 8:15am and (in line with DfE guidance) may include:

• Fruit
• Yoghurt
• Porridge
• Brown toast

After School Club

Our After School Club provides a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children can play, explore, build friendships and enjoy a positive end to their day.

Opening Times
Monday to Friday, 3:15pm to 5:30pm

Activities

Children have access to a wide range of free-choice and structured activities, including:

• Sports and physical activities
• Arts and crafts
• Construction and creative play
• Outdoor games
• Board games
• Choice-based play opportunities

Alongside free play, children also take part in adult-led activities throughout the week.

Healthy Snacks

In line with the Department for Education's Wraparound Childcare Guidance, our after-school provision offers a healthy snack rather than an evening meal. The purpose of the snack is to help children maintain their energy levels and enjoy the activities on offer until collection time.

Children have access to drinking water throughout the session and are provided with a nutritious snack which may include:

• Fresh fruit and vegetables
• Yoghurt
• Cheese and crackers
• Toast and other healthy options

Families may wish to provide an evening meal at home after collection where appropriate.
